About Dunfermline Rotary Club

Rotary is a global network of nearly 1.5m neighbours, friends and problem solvers who unite and volunteer, taking action to create lasting change in our communities and worldwide.
Our club in Dunfermline was founded in 1921 and currently we have around 40 members who meet every Thursday night for fun and fellowship with interesting speakers and outside visits to a variety of locations and businesses, plus sporting and social activities.

We are local people – just like you – who are interesting in helping the local community by raising funds for charity and organizing events and helping others. We have given away over £100k to our local community in a five- year period in addition to supporting Polio Plus, Rotary International`s project to eradicate the world of Polio, and in funding other international projects.
We also join with other Rotary clubs to run a Kids Out day for local handicapped and disadvantaged children and run a number of competitions for both Primary and Secondary school children.
